1. Your Wardrobe

I’m not even gunna try to dodge it.

My closet is a horrific mess at this moment, and if I cleaned it, I would just be trying to act cool by saying “yeah, my closet is so beautiful and neat and organized“.

Nope. Lies. ALL LIES.

Sure, I do organize my wardrobe, but over a period of time I just stop being totally neat when I have days I’m in a rush and throw things back, telling myself that I will put it away later…

But apart from that, I love having my scarves hung up on one hanger! =)

I enjoy colour coordinating my clothes too when I don’t hang them in full outfits.

Although, I have this thing where I place my new clothes or certain items that I’ve finally bought in the beginning of my closet because to me it feels really cool and I want to see it all the time. Corny? I know.

Ps. SORRY I DON’T HAVE A SUPER COOL WARDROBE TO SHARE!

2. You have the most …

RINGS! I don’t even know how many I have to be honest! I can clean my room or my bags and I’ll find others that I forgot I have!

The first picture was a set of rings from my mom, you can see the full post called “Thank You For The Faith

I’ve been collecting rings ever since my mom gave me 3 silver band rings that I fell in love with and felt all grown up wearing~

You can see more photo’s of my other rings (the bigger and more intricate ones) in my post called “Pretty Little Things

I feel like rings can show off your personality and give off vibes based on your mood. That may sound weird, but when rings (and earrings) are your most favored accessories, you tend to feel like they show who you are~

3. Something you’re wearing for the first time…

I’m putting it as two different things; my new white sequined top from Old Navy + striped bag from Old Navy

I don’t really wear sparkly or glittery looking articles, but this just caught my eye. Only the front is sequined and the back is sequin-free which I find really nice. This is what I consider a tank top with a punch, because it just made my outfit look a bit more chic and put together~

Below is my now new favourite nautical inspired bag, also from Old Navy! This bag not only made me buy it because of it’s gorgeous look and stripes but because of it’s strength and size! I’m the girl who needs a BIG bag that can actually hold weight! This baby does the job~

4. Your favourite print

The cheetah/leopard print. I actually googled both of them because I couldn’t remember the difference between the two prints, and I realized that one of my tops had a combination of both prints. How bout that?

I was actually debating between cheetah or polka dots, both prints I love because no matter what they always seem to weave their way back into the fashion world~

I choose the cheetah print because I enjoy wearing it with the two tops that I own. I always feel a bit more dressed up and glamorous when I wear them~

5. Your best bargain

This isn’t my BEST bargain of all times, but I wanted to pick something more recent. I have a tendency to get a lot of good bargains, so it was REALLY hard to remember which ones I had gotten good deals from.

Although my thrifting experience would be considered my “best bargain” because I got the clothes, some brand new, super cheap~

I chose this brown jacket. I’ve been craving one of these for YEARS! I now FINALLY have my own~

Typically, this jacket ranges from prices of $30.00-$45.00. How much did I get this baby for, which also includes A HOODIE that can COME OFF? ONLY $18.00 at the sale rack at Forever21 where their sale was “buy one get one free”.

Hey, good things come to those who wait! =)

6. Something out of your comfort zone, but you love it

Polka dots. Sleeveless. Ruffles.  These are ALL out of my comfort zone, and ALL combined into ONE SINGLE TOP. So, WHY DO I LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH!?

When I think about it, I’ve actually gotten used to wearing sleeveless tops now, and my wardrobe seems to be getting lots of polka dots added to it. How odd …

OOTD Details:

  • Black shorts- Urban Planet ($8.00)
  • Sleeveless polka dot ruffle top- Gift

7. A special occasion outfit.

This dress has only been worn once. I never have any place to really wear that “little fancy black dress” to. I bought this dress from Urban Behaviour for about $15 (they were having a massive closing sale). Hopefully I don’t get any taller so I CAN still wear this.

8. Something you forget you have but love

I got this as a gift from my aunt. At first, I wasn’t loving it, it seemed a bit too girly for me. However, over time I began to appreciate it and it’s small details that make it a bit more unique.

Not only are the sleeves 3/4, they have very light and dainty details from the curves to the buttons on the bottom of the sleeve.

This actually has 2 zippers, and I’ve always loved the shape of it. It reminds me of drawing an “S” the cool way back in middle school.

These ruffles were always a bit odd to me, but eventually I got over it because I love how well this top hugs me and looks crazy fitted. Also, the zipper only goes up halfway which makes it a bit cooler in my book.

9. The item at the top of your wish list

Ironically, I had a really hard time picking this because I’ve actually been acquiring the things that have been on my wish list for SO LONG.

I’m currently hunting for that perfect cuff for my cartilage. I find a cuff more attractive than just a typical diamond stud. Online at Etsy, you can find THE most amazing earrings, lobe, cartilage, chains and all!

http://www.etsy.com/search?includes%5B0%5D=tags&q=cartilage

My achieved wish list:

  • Brown jacket
  • Helloberry bracelets
  • High-low skirt
  • Maxi skirt
  • Infinity leopard scarf
  • Chain cuff earring
  • Denim-leather jacket

11. Your spring essential

The high-low skirts~

This trend and this article of clothing is just simply perfect for the spring weather because it’s suitable for the weather, and doesn’t show off too much skin either. How can you not love the styles that this trend is bringing? Whether it’s the low-high, the asymmetrical, the waterfall, or the full-length sheer skirts (they got these skirts falling down in all sorts of ways and directions, it’s nuts!) ect, this trend has versatility and comfort to it!

Plus, just having one of these skirts gives you the options to play around and recreate the other styles that are out there!

12. The outfit you’ve had the best times in

The comfiest. The easiest to wear. The favourite colours.

Why WOULDN’T this outfit be the best? Wearing something comfy puts you in a good mood and just that alone helps you have an even better time and mindset.

SOME of the many good times I’ve had:

  • Late night spontaneous firework night watching
  • A full day of activities in a new place
  • Wonderland trips
  • Walks on the docks down at the lake
  • Quick ice cream runs to McDonalds
  • Rolling down the hill like a cool kid
  • Korean youth delegation events
  • The perfect “I’m-ready-steady” outfit for those 3am road trips and awkward ‘morning’ breakfast hunts
  • Visiting family at family picnics and still being able to run around with the kids while looking decent

13. Your lazy day at home with style (in front of your housemates/bf/visitor) outfit

I’m actually going to be home for a while, therefore this post is quite relevant as to how I will be dressing for this week in a nutshell.

Yes, this IS blurry, I know! But the one in focus looked … awkward. Don’t you love when you tie your hair in a bun and it just looks “perfect” to you? A few strands of hair will fall out, but frame your face really nice. However, this is when you are stuck at home and NOT going out -_-

I don’t own really baggy sweats or anything like that. I still enjoy wearing fitted clothes that are super comfy. If I have visitors, this is something you will most likely see me in … unless I have to make an effort and dress more decently.

I swear, is it just me, or when I’m feeling really lazy I resort to an all-black attire. Hmm, how interesting. Well, they DO say that black IS slimming.

15. Nail art/your favourite polish and your nail varnish collection

As much as I love colour, I have this obsession for nude colour nails. I tried it one time, and I’m hooked! It goes with everything, never goes out of style, and it just looks more sophisticated without trying (looks even better if you have long nails!).

I don’t spend much time on my nails at all because when I’m working, both my nail polish and my nails ALWAYS get chipped somehow (something that annoys me to NO END)! The only reason I even bother to put on nail polish is because it covers my nails and kinda prevents me from biting my nails because I love having long nails, but I suck at taking care of them.

I don’t have a nail varnish collection, heck this nude colour nail polish is something I just found in my moms makeup bag and tried it out! Me, her and my sister share any nail polishes that we all own, but none really stand out to me that I love besides this one!

16. A customized item

Some people might recognize this jacket because I did a DIY post on it:

https://danaphotomemoir.wordpress.com/2012/05/06/diy-jacket-to-vest/

Customizing can be anything from something small to something big, as long as it fits you how you want it to~

Why have the jacket when you can have the grungy vest?

17. Something you wear when it’s sunny

Bug eye shades. It’s my “must-have-on-me” accessory for all seasons.

I guess you can say I’m a bit of a vampire because I despise walking around outside in the sun without these shades on. It just drives me CRAZY. I feel like I’m squinting and glaring at everyone and will soon walk into a pole.

I’m not picky about designs, as long as the shades are big and are tinted enough that when you look at my eyes, you can’t see them. It’s kinda funny, I can pretend I’m listening while being asleep, or watching other things around me when no one knows.

I’m no expert about which sunglasses frame faces and whatnot, but of all the styles I’ve tried, bug eyes suit me the best. I love how it looks and frames my face and covers my eyes COMPLETELY.

The bigger and darker they are, the better for me than for you~

18. Your brightest lipstick

I don’t wear lipstick, so I am substituting for lip-gloss. I don’t think of lip-gloss as a little girl type of product, because I like to wear it if I really feel like “dressing up” or “going all out“. But, that does NOT mean I throw on the brightest, most glossiest and bold shade of LIFE. It’ll just be a super light glaze look because I’m terrified of lip colours, I haven’t found one I really find suitable for me, except for a dark dark red lip-gloss from ESTĒE LAUDER that my mom gave me. (which I’ve been using for the last almost year and a half)

(On the right) Brightest shade: 07 Flashdance

(In the middle) 03 Berry Lush (so far my favourite)

(On the left) 06 Coral Chic

This is a very new and recent set of ESTĒE LAUDERs lip-glosses, my mom got it not even a week ago when purchasing her other makeup products. It comes as a set, just as the above picture shows, and it comes with a square purple and black animal skin-print compact mirror. The lip-glosses are called: Pure gloss, High gloss, Ultra brilliance.

http://www.esteelauder.com/product/647/21166/Product-Catalog/Makeup/Lips/Lip-Gloss/Pure-Color/High-Gloss/index.tmpl

Surprisingly, these lip-glosses work really well; they stay on your lips for a long time, unlike other glosses that would come off very easily. There isn’t a very heavy shine, so its subtle on the lips, but its the pop of colour that makes it look so amazing.

BTW, this was a gift set, so I don’t know the actual Canadian pricing, SORRY!

This is the 07 Flashdance in the photo above.

I don’t ever do reviews on products, but it is new and I don’t like to just say a product without giving the proper information about it. ESTEE LAUDER is a really great brand to buy from. My moms been buying from them for years, and I have tried some of the products here and there, it really does its job well.

I’ve personally never come across a bad product from them, and if you ever purchase from the Bramelea City Centre ESTĒE LAUDER in the makeup section at The Bay, they give amazing customer service to everyone, and a lot of tips about what products will work best for you.

19th. An article of clothing/jewellery that instantly makes you feel great

Sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that put a smile on your face. For me, it’s this necklace. No matter what outfit I wear, I always feel x100 better wearing it!

OMG, 100 posts!? Woohoo, I actually feel quite accomplished! DO A HAPPY DANCE WITH ME MY FELLOW BLOGGERS!~

20th. Shoes you love but hardly wear

I KNOW, I KNOW! WHY AM I DOING THIS AFTER NOT FINISHING IT SO LONG AGO?! I FELT BAD! Therefore, I have declared that I’M GOING TO FINISH THIS EVEN IF IT KILLS ME! … hopefully it doesn’t come down to that.

Stop judging me and just look at the shoes below!

These are my shoes from prom, but I’ve only worn them maybe 2 or 3 times. I really wish my family had more fancy events or weddings so that I could bust these super comfy babies out!

-Aldo ($25.50)

I hate having something in my closet that I can’t wear very often, it just drives me crazy! (I was going to write about my black heels, but then I realized that I’ve worn them a lot compared to these heels.)
