Afternoon fellow bloggers!

I’ve never been a hoodie kind of girl, but I recently fell in love with the comfy feeling of a simple black hoodie from Old Navy! Not only does it look nice, but it’s super comfy, which is essential for this fall weather!

I know this picture above may seem like a boring photo to be inspired by, but it still caught my eye. I’ve always loved how people wear hoodies and denim together. Having this photo reminded me to one day try it out myself!

I find it really funny now that you can buy jackets with the parts of a hoodie attached to it, but it’s not actually two separate pieces, but rather one whole piece. I like it, but it takes away the fun of putting the layers together yourself.

This simple black hoodie is from Old Navy for about $11.00. It’s actually very thin and light, so I can wear plenty of layers under it and it actually fits my figure nicely so it doesn’t make me look like I just rolled out of bed.

Pairing my new black hoodie with my denim-leather jacket from Forever 21 instantly became a combo that I am now thoroughly in love with!

16. A customized item

Some people might recognize this jacket because I did a DIY post on it:

Customizing can be anything from something small to something big, as long as it fits you how you want it to~

Why have the jacket when you can have the grungy vest?

9. The item at the top of your wish list

Ironically, I had a really hard time picking this because I’ve actually been acquiring the things that have been on my wish list for SO LONG.

I’m currently hunting for that perfect cuff for my cartilage. I find a cuff more attractive than just a typical diamond stud. Online at Etsy, you can find THE most amazing earrings, lobe, cartilage, chains and all!

My achieved wish list:

  • Brown jacket
  • Helloberry bracelets
  • High-low skirt
  • Maxi skirt
  • Infinity leopard scarf
  • Chain cuff earring
  • Denim-leather jacket

I was walking past the store Aeropostale and saw a HUGE poster of Chloe Moretz in front! I stopped and stared. Next thing I know, I was at home googling this up, and giving this girl a thumbs up! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXsZH0EFKBk&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLaEaViJt_-j09nLYEBYFiUQ )

The 15-year-old actress has just been named Aéropostale’s celebrity brand ambassador! What does this mean? That Moretz will star in a campaign for the brand, beginning with the 2012 back-to-school season.

Personally, Chloe is just this super adorable and young girl that knows how to have fun with fashion and she just makes anything work because of her outgoing personality. I really found this out through seeing her on the cover of Seventeen magazine and looking at her behind-the-scenes footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJ42fYJqlv4

Chloe is what I would define as feminine, fun and chic. She knows how to stay comfy, but still have fun with what she wears.  Below are her promo photo’s with the captions labelled underneath. Check out the site: http://www.aeropostale.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3534619

Breaking hearts-cool as can be in jeans & our moto jacket.

Leaps & Bounds- layers of texture topped with a bold hat.

Laid Back- casual as ever in our jeggings & tee layered with our fleece vest.

All Class- never missing a beat in animal denim print.

Colour Me This- lace leggings rock a classic mohair sweater.

The New Bohemian- our long patterned skirt & cardigan; mix it up boho chic.

What do you think of her? The bohemian and breaking hearts looks are my two personal favourites. I think for such a young girl, she can make it work representing this store~

5. Your best bargain

This isn’t my BEST bargain of all times, but I wanted to pick something more recent. I have a tendency to get a lot of good bargains, so it was REALLY hard to remember which ones I had gotten good deals from.

Although my thrifting experience would be considered my “best bargain” because I got the clothes, some brand new, super cheap~

I chose this brown jacket. I’ve been craving one of these for YEARS! I now FINALLY have my own~

Typically, this jacket ranges from prices of $30.00-$45.00. How much did I get this baby for, which also includes A HOODIE that can COME OFF? ONLY $18.00 at the sale rack at Forever21 where their sale was “buy one get one free”.

Hey, good things come to those who wait! =)

Ever find those articles of clothes that you look at and think, “What the heck is this? DID I buy this? Or has it always been in the back of my closet?” Well that’s me with this black jacket:

The funny part is that it’s a really great fit, sort of like a blazer feel, it has buttons and a zipper, but it LOOKS old and grungy. I like that feature about it, but I could never find an outfit for it.

Yesterday I came across this photo on Tumblr, and it got me thinking because I’d been looking for a nice, interesting vest for a long time now.

So I woke up this morning, 8am, god knows why, and decided to do something about this jacket! So I went from THIS:

To THIS:

I’m extremely happy with the results. I didn’t realize that simply cutting off the arms of the jacket would make such a huge difference! This makes me want to go thrift hunting now! I’m normally terrible at stuff like this, but it’s interesting to see what a pair of scissors can do! I urge you to try it to something you own, it’s a lot of fun =)

If you have any experiences, or tips, feel free to share!~
