We all have those moments. Those things that we say to someone, but we never do it ourselves. Just like the saying “try taking your own advice”.

I went all M.I.A on my poor little blog because school started, even though I had SO many blog post ideas running through my head! I now hang my head in shame.

I’ve always been one for time management, but I feel like I have no time to even BREATHE anymore! WHAAAAT!? I now live on the bus, which is QUITE sad.

Inbetween classes, eating, no sleeping, schoolwork, readings (which don’t get done), assignments, buying books (every student does this and pretty much signs their death personally, grr!), I feel like I don’t even see my family much anymore, I don’t get to take some time to look nice for school nor keep up with people as much as I’d like to!

I STILL am not done my 30 day fashion challenge! Am I bad at this or what? -__-

HOWEVER!

I AM going to finish that challenge AND I AM going to blog, hopefully weekly, but it’ll be at odd hours.

What do you preach but never do yourself?

12. The outfit you’ve had the best times in

The comfiest. The easiest to wear. The favourite colours.

Why WOULDN’T this outfit be the best? Wearing something comfy puts you in a good mood and just that alone helps you have an even better time and mindset.

SOME of the many good times I’ve had:

  • Late night spontaneous firework night watching
  • A full day of activities in a new place
  • Wonderland trips
  • Walks on the docks down at the lake
  • Quick ice cream runs to McDonalds
  • Rolling down the hill like a cool kid
  • Korean youth delegation events
  • The perfect “I’m-ready-steady” outfit for those 3am road trips and awkward ‘morning’ breakfast hunts
  • Visiting family at family picnics and still being able to run around with the kids while looking decent

11. Your spring essential

The high-low skirts~

This trend and this article of clothing is just simply perfect for the spring weather because it’s suitable for the weather, and doesn’t show off too much skin either. How can you not love the styles that this trend is bringing? Whether it’s the low-high, the asymmetrical, the waterfall, or the full-length sheer skirts (they got these skirts falling down in all sorts of ways and directions, it’s nuts!) ect, this trend has versatility and comfort to it!

Plus, just having one of these skirts gives you the options to play around and recreate the other styles that are out there!

9. The item at the top of your wish list

Ironically, I had a really hard time picking this because I’ve actually been acquiring the things that have been on my wish list for SO LONG.

I’m currently hunting for that perfect cuff for my cartilage. I find a cuff more attractive than just a typical diamond stud. Online at Etsy, you can find THE most amazing earrings, lobe, cartilage, chains and all!

My achieved wish list:

  • Brown jacket
  • Helloberry bracelets
  • High-low skirt
  • Maxi skirt
  • Infinity leopard scarf
  • Chain cuff earring
  • Denim-leather jacket

8. Something you forget you have but love

I got this as a gift from my aunt. At first, I wasn’t loving it, it seemed a bit too girly for me. However, over time I began to appreciate it and it’s small details that make it a bit more unique.

Not only are the sleeves 3/4, they have very light and dainty details from the curves to the buttons on the bottom of the sleeve.

This actually has 2 zippers, and I’ve always loved the shape of it. It reminds me of drawing an “S” the cool way back in middle school.

These ruffles were always a bit odd to me, but eventually I got over it because I love how well this top hugs me and looks crazy fitted. Also, the zipper only goes up halfway which makes it a bit cooler in my book.

6. Something out of your comfort zone, but you love it

Polka dots. Sleeveless. Ruffles.  These are ALL out of my comfort zone, and ALL combined into ONE SINGLE TOP. So, WHY DO I LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH!?

When I think about it, I’ve actually gotten used to wearing sleeveless tops now, and my wardrobe seems to be getting lots of polka dots added to it. How odd …

OOTD Details:

  • Black shorts- Urban Planet ($8.00)
  • Sleeveless polka dot ruffle top- Gift

  • It feels like a lifetime since I last blogged! Whoaaaaaa nelly!
  • I haven’t been keeping up with my fashion challenge OR my YouTube challenge
  • Why am I so unmotivated lately?!
  • I have a million posts that I wanna write … why haven’t I gotten on that?! BAD DANA!
  • I’M SORRY WORDPRESS, I AM! BUT I STILL KEEP UP WITH OTHER PEOPLES BLOGS; READING THEM ALL THE TIME!

Besides’ all of those pointless things I just mentioned, I wanted to ask something!

When I get a notification for a new follower (which makes me literally squeal and bounce around in sheer happiness like a dork), am I the ONLY one who actually goes through THEIR blog, read all the posts, like and comment and follow back?

I can’t REALLY be the ONLY one who does this … right … ? I feel like it’s a good way to be a ‘loyal’ blogger (my failed logic)

5. Your best bargain

This isn’t my BEST bargain of all times, but I wanted to pick something more recent. I have a tendency to get a lot of good bargains, so it was REALLY hard to remember which ones I had gotten good deals from.

Although my thrifting experience would be considered my “best bargain” because I got the clothes, some brand new, super cheap~

I chose this brown jacket. I’ve been craving one of these for YEARS! I now FINALLY have my own~

Typically, this jacket ranges from prices of $30.00-$45.00. How much did I get this baby for, which also includes A HOODIE that can COME OFF? ONLY $18.00 at the sale rack at Forever21 where their sale was “buy one get one free”.

Hey, good things come to those who wait! =)

4. Your favourite print

The cheetah/leopard print. I actually googled both of them because I couldn’t remember the difference between the two prints, and I realized that one of my tops had a combination of both prints. How bout that?

I was actually debating between cheetah or polka dots, both prints I love because no matter what they always seem to weave their way back into the fashion world~

I choose the cheetah print because I enjoy wearing it with the two tops that I own. I always feel a bit more dressed up and glamorous when I wear them~

Just like the infamous ”writer’s block”, I am experiencing “fashion’s block“. A little while back I purchased a polka dot cardigan that I’ve been eyeing. I love cardigan’s, so I figured instead of buying simple solid coloured ones, I would attempt buying a pattern.

This is your typical full sleeve button-up cardigan (Old Navy, $15)

I did NOT however, think it would be so hard to style! It’s because I don’t buy patterns that require layering, I find it a bit odd to wear.

Ideally, a cardigan can simply be worn with a tank top inside and that itself is a completed outfit. However, I want to kick it up a notch. The only question is how?

A challenge has presented itself to me! I have 90 days (that’s the return/exchange policy) to see if I can make outfits that I will love and if not, I’ll simply return it back to the store.

Just one set of layers is working with a cool colour palette. Now to push it further! Time for some fun, research and experimenting!
